Abstract Submission

All participants are invited to submit abstracts for consideration for oral presentation. The deadline for abstract submission is 15 August 2011.

Abstracts must be submitted via email to secretariat@soa.org.sg. Abstracts submitted via fax or post will not be accepted.

Guidelines and Instructions for Abstract Submission

  1. Abstract must be submitted in English, font size 12pt, Times New Roman.

  2. The abstract text is limited to 250 words and is to be structured to the following headings:
  3. i) Objectives
    ii) Materials and method
    iii) Results
    iv) Conclusion
    The section headings should be bold.

  4. Presenting author’s contact details including email address and contact number.

  5. The identifying information includes:
  6. a) The titles in BOLD UPPER CASE
    b) Author and co-authors’ details, including affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city, country.

  7. Please DO NOT include tables, graphs and images in the abstract.

  8. Only abstracts of authors who have paid their meeting registration fee by 15 September 2011 will be included in the final programme.

  9. The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts. Following this, notification of acceptance will be sent to the presenter. Instructions for preparation and
    scheduling will be sent together with the acceptance notification.

  10. Please note that abstracts must be submitted before the deadline on 15 August 2011.
